For less than one cup of coffee, you can help feed a hungry child
Did you know that in 2008 we served over 1300 unduplicated people?
Those numbers have continued to rise in 2009 and will continue to do
so in 2010
- $2 will provide a warm meal.
- $100 will provide one day of support and counseling to help people find jobs and housing.
- $150 will house a family for one week in our interim housing program. 80% of our clients in our family interim housing program moved into permanent housing.
- 38.1% of clients were homeless in 2008 vs. 61.9% who were
at risk for being homeless.
Your gift of $50 will provide 25 warm meals. A $100 gift will feed 50.
Reports of foreclosures and crushing debt have hit home for millions of American families…BUT for 1.5
million children in our country, that news will never hit home…
because those children don't have a home.
Maybe we cannot do a lot because of the recession, but for the cost of
one cup of coffee, we can give LOVE and HOPE to
the neediest in our neighborhoods.
